About the Comic

THE IRIS IZ is an experimental ONLINE PUBLICATION where iris makes art and comics about people and jokes with the very occassional appearance of plot. Serialized storytelling one page at a time switchin between multiple loosely connected series and a couple recurring characters.

Blank stares and freaky smiles. Newspapers and living rooms. Practice and experimentation. Never settle never calm down. The Iris Iz is when foibles have babies with mirrors. ~~

Iris is often the main character but sometimes not. She's got big glasses and a large nose. Her last name is Iz.

About the Artist

Danielle Iris Bicoy is a cartoonist, musician, and degenerate. She lives in sin where she works full time at some store. She spends her days practicing reacting to things and looking out her window.
